How do we even begin to thank the many volunteers who have worked on our last build in Oshawa and on the build that took place in Uxbridge, words do not seem to define our gratitude. But it does have to be said, WE THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP AND THE MANY MANY HOURS OF DEDICATION BY ALL OF YOU - FOR WHOM WE WOULD NOT EXIST WITHOUT YOUR VERY HARD WORK.
We have secured a large piece of land that will see us start a 24 unit town house build this year. This project is slated to complete over the next 4 years. We have phased this project for many different reasons and one of them being $$$ Money... If we manage to secure enough money to build all of the homes more quickly we will do our very best to match the resources required to complete the homes more quickly. Stay tuned as the schedule will be done mid March and we will be in touch with all of our eager volunteers to come and get updated!
In the meanstime we still need YOU to be a success! If you are a person that would like to benefit from the excitement of a build, working in the ReStore, being part of the planning by committee work please complete a volunteer application form and send it in to Volunteer@habitatdurham.com, who will be happy to set you up for our next volunteer orientation. ReStore/Office Volunteer Orientation's are every Monday at 3:00 pm and one Thursday evening a month.
