Our dream began with a handful of dedicated Uxbridge individuals, it quickly grew with the support of many volunteers and sponsors.
Now that dream becomes reality. The Elliott family received the keys to their new Habitat Home in 2005, A home that they helped build, and will purchase with an interest-free mortgage.

Welcome Home Nolan Family. Oshawa has a new Habitat home and welcomed the family into a new community November 2008. Ken can still be heard saying "It's just such a dream, I keep expecting to wake up and it will all be gone! It's just a dream."
We can understand why Ken and his family are so excited as often was the comment coming from volunteers, "this is such a nice house, when are we building one for me?"
